I'm a One-Man Band - better than a DJ, cheaper than a live band! I provide all the fun and energy of live performance without the hassle, floor space, expense, politics, and deafening sound of a full band. I am a fully independent classic rock, oldies, soul, pop, acoustic, funk, disco, and southern rock musician all in one professional package. With powerful vocals running the range of Bryan Adams, Van Morrison, Ed Sheeran, The Police, The Eagles, Maroon 5, The BeeGees, Ray Lamontagne, Hall and Oates, The Doobie Brothers, Bob Marley, Pharrell Williams, Bob Seger, and many more, everyone at your function or venue is sure to hear something they can groove to. And from strumming on acoustic guitar styles like Jimmy Buffet and Paul Simon, to rocking out on styles like Journey and Santana, I always keep it fresh and fun. I perform with a wide spectrum of background music through a powerful but compact Bose L2 sound system, with bass, drums, keyboards, background vocals and more, so people can still dance and enjoy a lively atmosphere without the hassle and extra decibels of a full live band setup. And since I take up a lot less space than a full band, there's a lot more room left over to dance in!
About Me
I have been playing guitar and singing for over 36 years. I studied classical guitar at Kennesaw University, and jazz guitar at Georgia State University, and have studied under numerous independent vocal and guitar teachers over the years. I have played solo and worked with a variety of bands and artists throughout my music career, including live band rap and electronica groups, wedding bands, numerous classic rock, oldies, country, and 80s rock cover bands, and even Dolly Parton and Elvis impersonators. I have also played and sang in Atlanta's premiere wedding band, The Atlanta Band of Gold, since 2010. I always like to keep things musically up to date, fresh and fun, and I'm always looking forward to entertaining at my next great performance opportunity.
